Based in Seoul, South Korea, Leslie Early has drawn on her childhood love of stadium rock and summarized it in a whisper. Her debut EP makes use of gently layered vocals, an understated acoustic guitar, and one guest toy glockenspiel in order to explore overlapping currents of yearning and melancholy, as well as the occasional burst of joy. A preview of things to come, these three tracks set the trajectory for an artist who has just recently rediscovered her voice.
